  1. Friday, August 27, 2021, 1:30 p.m-5:00 p.m

    Beyond Foundation Sequencing

    This seminar will cover front crosses, rear crosses, blind crosses, as well as specific turning cues in shorter sequences using jumps and tunnels.

    Prerequisites: Dogs must be able to sequence 6 obstacles including jumps and tunnels. Dogs must be at least 1 year of age to participate.

  2. Friday, August 27, 2021, 9:00 a.m-12:30 p.m

    Foundation Skills for Puppies and Young Dogs

    This seminar will cover toy games, flatwork skills, obstacle commitment skills, and many more! Handlers with puppies 4+ months and/or older dogs will learn many foundation skills essential for the well-rounded agility dog.

    Prerequisites: Suitable for puppies 4 months and older

  3. Saturday, August 28, 2021, 9:00 a.m-12:30 p.m

    Novice Sequencing

    This seminar will cover all the handling skills needed for Novice and beyond using jumps and tunnels.

    Prerequisites: Dogs must be able to sequence up to 10 obstacles and be at least 1 year of age to participate.

  4. Saturday, August 28, 2021, 1:30 p.m-5:00 p.m

    Advanced Sequencing using Jumps, Tunnels, and Weaves

    This seminar will cover handling more complicated sequences using tunnels, jumps, and weaves. Jen will help handlers to find the most efficient line on each sequence.

    Prerequisites: Dogs must have proficiency of 12 weaves as well as jumps and tunnels.

  5. Sunday, August 29, 2021, 9:00 a.m-12:30 p.m

    Masters Coursework (part 1)

    Get ready for challenging coursework! This seminar will feature sequences and/or courses with Masters level handling challenges.

    Prerequisites: Dog and Handler teams should be at the Masters level of competition and must have proficiency of all equipment.

  6. Sunday, August 29, 2021, 1:30 p.m-5:00 p.m

    Masters Coursework (part 2)

    Because we think the morning Masters Coursework seminar is going to be so much fun, we are going to do a second seminar! This seminar will feature sequences and/or courses with Masters level handling challenges.

    Prerequisites: Dog and Handler teams should be at the Masters level of competition and must have proficiency of all equipment.

About Jen Pinder

Jen Pinder

Jen has been competitive in agility for over 18 years. Running large and small dogs, Jen has a unique perspective as to how to get the best out of any dog she runs. Over the years, Jen has had many accomplishments, including national titles, AKC, WAO, IFCS, and EO World team as a participant in International competition.

Jen has several Steeplechase Championships, Grand Prix Championships, and USDAA Team Championships. Over the years, Jen has put many upper level titles including ADCH and MACH on her Border Collies, Jack Russels, mix breed, and Shelties. Jen is currently competing with Shelties Dayla and Wicca as well as her Border/Whippet, Brechin.

In addition to her skills as a competitor, Jen's excellent teaching ability and ability to adapt to different styles of dogs is what makes Jen a highly sought after presenter/instructor across the country. We are so happy and lucky to have been able to work with Jen for over 14 years!

Seminar Details

All seminars and workshop will be held in our 100' x 125' climate controlled building.

Strict COVID protocols, including masks worn by all 100% of the time will be enforced. We have hand sanitizer and a sink for hand washing available.

There will be a one hour lunch break each day. Lunch will not be provided, but there are many fast food restaurants and delis in the area within close driving distance. Maps of Leesburg restaurants will be provided.

Registration Information

Each half day seminar (Friday and Saturday) will be limited to 6 working spots (except Foundation Skills for Puppies and Young Dogs which will have a 8 working spot limit). The cost for a working spot (1 handler + 1 dog) is $150. Auditing Spots are $50. The Puppies seminar will be $140. Handlers may take both Masters sessions with the same dog for $250.


  • Registration opens 7/18 at 8 am for currently enrolled ACA students and 7/26 at 8 am for the general public.

  • A waitlist will be maintained once all working spots are filled.

  • Confirmations will be sent within 48 hours.

* Current ACA students are defined as anyone who attended at least 2 sessions in 2021.
